Emily stops walking and turns to Jason.

EMILY (smiling) Jason, I have to tell you something.

JASON (concerned) What is it, Emily?

EMILY (sadly) I met someone else. I'm sorry.

JASON (shocked) What? Who is it? What does he have that I don't?

EMILY (tearfully) It's not about that, Jason. I just don't feel the same way about you.

Jason is heartbroken as Emily walks away.

INT. JASON'S APARTMENT - DAY

Jason is sitting on the couch, staring blankly at the TV. His phone rings. It's Emily.

JASON (into the phone) What do you want, Emily?
